Seven put in bids to demolish ag building

The Dominion Post

MORGANTOWN — Seven companies submitted bids to demolish the old WVU Ag Sciences building.

According to WVU data, the bids range from about $252,000 to $1.5 million for the project. WVU has not awarded the contract to any company.

According to WVU Spokeswoman April Kaull, work is on schedule for the demolition which should wrap up at the end of the March.

The old Ag Sciences Building is located on WVU’s campus. It was replaced by a new facility. Nearby, a new $104 million Agricultural Sciences Building was dedicated in September. It is one of several recently constructed buildings on the campus.
