Man who shot teen sent to Anthony Center

The Dominion Post

MORGANTOWN — A man who drunkenly shot a teen was sentenced to the Anthony Center.

On Nov. 28, Monongalia County Circuit Judge Russell Clawges sentenced Christopher Smith, 22. Earlier this year, a jury found Smith guilty of involuntary manslaughter and wanton endangerment.

Smith will now head to the facility designed for youthful offenders. The center offers education and vocational training.

In March, Smith was recklessly playing with a gun when he shot and killed Damon Sochko-Seals, 16.
